MIMOS Academy is situated inside the national MIMOS Berhad headquarters, featuring direct shared access to Malaysia's leading applied research laboratories, wafer fab cleanrooms, and advanced testing environments.
WAFER & IC TESTING LAB
provides wafer sort and testing services for processing of up to 200mm wafers. The lab is equipped with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) for evaluating and testing Digital, Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) and Power Devices, and provides engineering support for product prototyping.
FAILURE ANALYSIS, MATERIAL ANALYSIS & NANOCHARACTERISATION LAB
equipped with a complete spectrum of advanced analytical tools to provide high value-added services for the E&E industry and academia. The lab is a strategic cross-cutting enabler to complete E&E ecosystem support by providing much needed services in Malaysia.
WAFER FABRICATION & WAFER PROTOTYPING LAB
produces 200mm wafers at medium volume capacity. Our operation is backed by robust technologies from IMS Germany and NTT Japan. The 200mm wafer fabrication plant is fully-equipped with industry-standard technology as well as machinery, to cater to various industrial and research requirements.
ARGON ROOM
Argon Room is a modern training and collaborative learning space designed to support interactive training sessions, workshops, presentations and group discussions. The room features flexible seating arrangements, spacious workstations and presentation facilities to provide a comfortable and engaging environment for participants.
MAGNESIUM ROOM
Magnesium Room is a practical training and learning space designed for classroom-based training sessions, workshops, presentations and discussions. The room features individual worktables, comfortable seating, projection facilities and a whiteboard, providing a focused and flexible environment for professional learning and development activities.
SEMINAR ROOM
Seminar Room is a spacious and professional learning venue designed for seminars, training sessions, presentations, workshops and corporate events. The room features classroom-style seating, presentation facilities and an integrated audio system, providing a comfortable and well-equipped environment for larger group learning and knowledge-sharing activities.
TRAINING ROOM 1 (SAMARIUM) & 2 (EUROPIUM)
Samarium and Europium Training Rooms provide a spacious and flexible environment designed for professional training, workshops, presentations and collaborative learning activities. The rooms feature configurable worktables, comfortable seating, projection facilities, whiteboards and presentation equipment, making them suitable for a wide range of training and group learning requirements.
